The Beast Lord way: often wrong but never in doubt.
I'm always a person that's a little suspicious of anything that's been converted in post, but if I know that it's been originated, either in live-action or animation, I'm intrigued.
One of my favorite things about animation is that the boundaries are as limitless as our imaginations. If we can dream it, we can make it. And if we do it well, audiences will believe it wholeheartedly.
All new tools are useful to animators, but great animation comes down to great animators.
I've enjoyed the conversations that we've had. [Donald Trump] is somebody who I think is not lacking in confidence.
The first person I ever described the film [The Neon Demon] to was Christina Hendricks [who has a cameo in the movie]. We were having dinner in LA and she asked me what I wanted to do next and I said, "I want to do a horror movie. " And she goes, "What's it going to be about?" And I said, "A lot of blood and high heels. "
What are people released from prison expected to do? How are they expected to survive? Can't get a job, locked out of housing, and even food stamps may be off limits. Well, apparently what we expect them to do is to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars in fees, fines, court costs, and back child support (which continues to accrue while you are in prison).
Under fascism, citizens retain the responsibilities of owning property, without freedom to act and without any of the advantages of ownership. Under socialism, government officials acquire all the advantages of ownership, without any of the responsibilities, since they do not hold title to the property, but merely the right to use it -- at least until the next purge. In either case, the government officials hold the economic, political and legal power of life or death over the citizens.
