My process is thinking, thinking and thinking - thinking about my stories for a long time.
I try to eat well, but I don't deny myself the foods I love. I just eat them in moderation.
I stay in tune with my family and God.
I want to live a full life - period.
I love my city and I feel like the majority of the people that are in the city are people from other cities. So I think that L. A. sometimes might get a bad rap because it's known to be so Hollywood-oriented and then underneath that you have crime. But that's really the case in pretty much any major city that you go to.
I went to public - I graduated from publics - Westchester High. I'm a product of LA Unified.
People love to see themselves on screen in a way that makes sense and seems on point.
For still there are so many things that I have never seen: in every wood in every spring there is a different green.
Everyone has the ability to be creative. Everyone has the ability to connect one idea with another, to find an idea in another department, organization, or industry, and connect it with another to solve the challenge at hand.
I don't really get stuck in a time warp where, if my film is a success, I have to keep partying till the next one releases, or if my film is a flop, I keep wallowing in sorrow until the next comes my way. My hard work in each film is always there.
I can't imagine Revolution being quiet, unassuming, or bashful
