There are no idealists in the plant world and no compassion. The rose and the morning glory know no mercy. Bindweed, the morning glory, will quickly choke its competitors to death, and the fencerow rose will just as quietly crowd out any other plant that tried to share its roothold. Idealism and mercy are human terms and human concepts.
I really appreciate leaders from around the globe who have come to share in prayer with us today. It reminds me that the Almighty God is a God to everybody, every person.

Baltimore holds a lot of mystery for me still, despite the fact I've lived there most of my life. I think its shares a lot of issues and dominant themes with other second-tier post-industrial cities in the U. S. It has a universal resonance.

Meditation accepts us just as we are-in both our tantrums and our bad habits, in our love and commitments and happiness. It allows us to have a more flexible identity because we learn to accept ourselves and all of our human experience with more tenderness and openness. We learn to accept the present moment with an open heart. Every moment is incredibly unique and fresh, and when we drop into the moment, as meditation allows us to do, we learn how to truly taste this tender and mysterious life that we share together.
I actually am locked away. I think I have 4. 6 million Instagram followers, which is obviously a great way to communicate my work and my life. I have been taking some classes in woodworking. It's really helpful just looking at a problem, and having a very tangible way in constructing it. But with woodworking, it's really sort of gratifying to be able to have an actual piece to touch, and then step back and be able to share it.

They've got these things called lockers," I raved on. "The Halls are lined with them. And you won't believe what they're for! They're for locking stuff away-so other people won't steal it! Why can't everyone share?" ~ Cap
