Personally I prefer Gospel music.
I would like, in my life, to always be doing things I'm proud of. I know that probably won't happen all the time. But I'd prefer to be telling stories I can be proud of and understand why they're being told. I do watch a lot of films and TV, but sometimes I think: "Why the hell did you make that then?" I won't say what they are though.
Only those who will be sellers of equities in the near future should be happy at seeing stocks rise. Prospective purchasers should much prefer sinking prices.
Honestly, I’d prefer to live with gay guys. They’re the cleanest, and they just take care of stuff. Because I’m always away, coming home to a clean house means a lot to me. Trust me, I’ve lived with a lot of roommates, and straight guys are just kids who don’t pick up after themselves.
The masses are still ungrateful or ignorant. They prefer murder, poisonings, and crimes generally to a literature possessed of style and feeling.
Some people want to achieve immortality through their works or their descendants. I prefer to achieve immortality by not dying.
Now I beg of you to tell me whether I must love a human being simply because he exists or resembles me and whether for those reasons alone I must suddenly prefer him to myself?
I prefer shooting on location, just because it always helps you. You go some place, you put your life on hold even more than when you've settled in some place. You can make a new life so it opens yourself up to the make-believe and the imagination in a way when you aren't burdened by things that remind you of your life all the time.
I would much prefer that they take me as I am, that way the experience is genuine between the both of us.
I don't like talking about 'solutions. ' I prefer talking about intelligent responses.
I much prefer making music to talking about it. There's something visceral about instruments and voices that transcends words.
I prefer to be the noisiest thing in my environment thank you very much.
When we're young, we like happy endings. When we're a little older, we think happy endings are unrealistic and so we prefer bad but credible endings. When we're older still, we realize happy endings aren't so bad after all.
I'm not offended if you call me an African American. I prefer a black American.
Wit may do very well for a mistress, but [I] should prefer reason for a wife.
I prefer the word aviatrix. It has more zing to it. " "It's very zingy," I agreed.
Safety is all well and good: I prefer freedom.
Give people a taste of Old Crow, and tell them it's Old Crow. Then give them another taste of Old Crow, but tell them it's Jack Daniel's. Ask them which they prefer. They'll think the two drinks are quite different. They are tasting images
I prefer more of the modern stuff - just because I can associate with the imagery more.
On the whole, I prefer Christmas as an adult than I did as a child.
