Basically, my hair is very dry from all the backcombing! Hairdressers prefer if your hair is dry and damaged, as it makes it easier to style.
I do as little cardio as possible. I prefer to eat clean as often as possible instead of doing huge amounts of cardio.
I edit as I go. Especially when I go to commit it to paper. I prefer a typewriter even to a computer. I don't like it. There's no noise on the computer. I like a typewriter because I am such a slow typist. I edit as I am committing it to paper. I like to see the words before me and I go, "Yeah, that's it. " They appear before me and they fit. I don't usually take large parts out. If I get stuck early in a song, I take it as a sign that I might be writing the chorus and don't know it. Sometimes, you gotta step back a little bit and take a look at what you're doing.
I tend to prefer the smaller movies because they shoot more efficiently and so you're are able to maintain that momentum of the character a little more easily.
I prefer people to disagree with me because I really don't think I'm smart enough to know what all the answers are and I think the back and forth. . . we have a lot of it in our office, strong personalities, big intellects, good ideas - I think that back and forth has produced better strategies and tactics for us than if I sat in my office and decided we're doing those 10 things and that's the end of it.
As an actress you're perpetually about to be unemployed. That fear - when you have two parents who worked 9-to-5 jobs and went through periods of being unemployed - is real. Those were not welcome times in my childhood. Working 14 hours a day isn't sustainable, but I prefer it to doing fewer films. I might as well be doing the thing that I wanted to do my whole life.
When I dress up for events, I prefer Marc Jacobs and Dior. But I dream about wearing Chanel one day.
I'm far from being reclusive. I have thirty or forty year friendships that I prefer to meeting new people. I go to an occasional party, but just because I don't go to a lot of events, and I'm not out in public all the time doesn't mean I'm anti-social or a recluse.
I don't usually eat breakfast. I prefer to be asleep during the hours that it is served.
I prefer nothing, unless it is true.
I definitely prefer things to be dark, I definitely prefer things to not be particularly obvious. I like a lot of mystery in music, and I like it when things don't sound just like what they sound like always. But at the same time I like everything to sound very earnest and honest. So I don't really think that I have a definite stamp, but if people see that, that's awesome.
I much prefer the modern world.
I answered their questions truthfully and honestly, but I would prefer not to say more. I assume the information was routed back and that is why I was not called to testify.
I prefer more to kind of show people different things than tell them 'oh, here's what you should believe' and, over time, you can build up a rapport with your audience.
I was in my thirties before I learnt that I too would prefer not to see what I could no longer have
I prefer to work out alone. It enables me to concentrate on the lessons that the Iron has for me.
I prefer to speak of 'interdimensionals' rather than 'extraterrestrials' because the latter has connotations of 'little green men' and all the other cliche responses. Nor does it tell the full story.
I prefer not to eat food that has a face.
I prefer true over happy now.
I would prefer not to.
