You need to feel as good as you can before you start a workout. So what you wear to the gym is important.
In Romania, I train on a bar that is bent. My gym has bad lighting and very little heat in the winters. Here in America, you have everything you need to train. It's not in the bar or the gym or the platform it's in you.
Your mind is the strongest and most valuable muscle you can grow in the gym.
The Olympics are what I work for. They're why I spend so much time in the gym.
Thanks for the reminder that i have to hit the gym today. I have'nt worked out in days. Unless one counted mattress gymnastics!!!
People used to think I was so strange because my toiletry bag used to contain so many grooming items and cosmetics and stuff. But I think it's more acceptable these day for guys to take care of themselves. I think it's becoming more commonplace, not just for sportsmen, but for all guys to take care of themselves. Taking care of yourself is a nice thing to do. It's not seen as just a girl thing anymore. You see a lot more guys at the gym taking care of themselves, and I think it's going to continue to grow.
I've never been to the gym. I do nothing.
My fitness routine includes things that are not stressful on my body - swimming, yoga, stretching, and rebounding. When I used to kill myself in the gym, it had an adverse effect on me because my body would be so stressed out and constantly in fight-or-flight mode.
I travel every single day, but I make it a point to hit the gym. I want to look good for the summer.
I have been, earlier in my life, a lazy writer. I'd spend three hours at the gym to avoid writing, or I'd just find other distractions - reading, doing laundry, talking on the phone, etc. But suddenly I was like a laser beam: I was relentlessly focused, sometimes to the detriment of other things.
I belong to a gym now. . . well, let me rephrase that: I don't belong there at all, but I go.
If it wasn't for my trainer - who comes looking for me three times a week before 7 A. M. - I wouldn't get my butt out of bed and into the gym. There are many mornings when I think about faking a sprained ankle, but I just put it out of my head and make myself go.
I eat meat. I don't go to the gym.
People who are following their dreams inspire me. I train at this relatively new gym in West Hollywood called Training Mate. It's owned by a former Australian football player named Luke Milton. The classes are mostly taught by other Australians that are just like Luke: fit, funny, cute, and approachable. Now they're talking about opening another location. He will open another location and be successful because he's following his dream. People like him inspire me because they make me think I can do it too.
There's something really liberating about feeling great in what you work out in because when you feel great in the gym, then you are just going to do a better job. You'll feel more comfortable, which will allow you to push your limits.
I have my own gym. When you do jokes and they sell, you get a gym.
A great start to the perfect day - a world-class workout at the gym. . . It's hard to feel miserable after a great workout.
I'm a workaholic. I also go to the gym a lot - it's my new thing. Yes, I am a compulsive person.
My brother Dash hit me on the head with five textbooks in a gym bag.
I wake up at the same time every day to get to the gym.
