I've never actually seen a 3-D movie. I've seen some dailies in 3-D and it kind of gives me a headache. But it looks really cool.
I don't watch the dailies. You want to just turn in your resignation when you watch the dailies.
I have a choice - I can either watch all the dailies, or I can follow the social media. I can't do both.
How have people come to be taken in by The Phenomenon of Man? We must not underestimate the size of the market for works of this kind [pseudoscience'woo'], for philosophy-fiction. Just as compulsory primary education created a market catered for by cheap dailies and weeklies, so the spread of secondary and latterly tertiary education has created a large population of people, often with well-developed literary and scholarly tastes, who have been educated far beyond their capacity to undertake analytical thought.
When I first see the dailies, I look only at myself, but then you start to see the scene.
I don't read the Sunday papers; or the dailies, either
When I'm making a movie, I never watch the dailies. I see the movie once and that's it. It's really not about that for me. It's not about the externals. When I'm on a set, I don't want to see it. I want to be subjective in it. That's my habit now.
My dad told me, 'Your movie's never as good as the dailies and never as bad as the rough cut.
