Allen David "Al" Jourgensen[a] (born Alejandro Ramírez Casas; October 9, 1958), is a Cuban-American singer-songwriter, musician and music producer, best known as the frontman of the industrial metal band Ministry and its several side projects (namely Revolting Cocks, Lard and others). He has been widely regarded as one of most prominent figures of industrial-associated music, and been given the moniker “the godfather of industrial music or Uncle Al.”[sources 1]
