I like working in series, so instead of just doing one separate body of work, what if I come up with a different rhythm, instead of every week, what if I make it every year? And so I'm still setting up a series, a repetition, but it's a completely different work flow.
What if getting bigger isn't the point? What if you merely got better?

Suddenly, madness was everywhere, and I was determined to learn about the impact it had on the way society evolves. I've always believed society to be a fundamentally rational thing, but what if it isn't? What if it is built on insanity?
Do you think it's possible that things that seem to be discrete in three dimensions might all be part of the same bigger object in four dimensions?. . . What if humanity- that collective noun we so often employ- really is, at a higher level, a singular noun? What it what we perceive in three dimensions as seven billion individual human beings are really all just aspects of one giant being?
It is too easy to say 'what if' and paint a picture of a perfect world.
What if you do fail, and get fairly rolled in the dirt once or twice. Up again, you shall never be so afraid of a tumble.
But is it just then that the few and the wealthy should be the rulers? And what if they, in like manner, rob and plunder the people, - is this just?
The thing for me is, what if one returns to these maxims, these rather simplistic maxims "Be the change you want to see in the world. " Because what canvas have we but the self for these kind of explorations, ultimately.
What if the Secret to Success is Failure?.
What if rather than being disheartened by the ambiguity, the uncertainty of life, we accepted it and relaxed into it?
It is in the turmoil of chaos that we discover what, if anything, we are.
What if the primary work of education was the transforming of our imagination rather than the saturation of our intellect?
By some fluke, my folks forgot to ask me the question most crucial to ensuring a lifetime of self-doubt: 'What if you fail?
How could I possibly keep my cool while getting sweaty with him? What if I screamed out something horrifying, like "I love you?" What if I had an epileptic attack and started drooling or spitting right in the middle of things?
We like to look for patterns and find connections in unrelated events. This way we can explain them to ourselves. Life seems neater, or at least less messy. We need to feel we are in control: it is integral to our self-esteem. We also know, though we deny it, that we are not in control. So we settle for the illusions of control. What if we stopped fooling ourselves?
You know it's very difficult to be an actor, and to have people depending on you to say the right line, at the right time, and to not be able to hear your cues! I can't tell you how many times I would've had to have said What? if I didn't have my hearing aids. So my hearing aids are a life saver, and they allow me to practice my craft.
