For the moment, I'm concentrating on my own stuff.
I don't have a clue. These things don't bother me. I think about the technical stuff but not how many steps or what my heart rate is.
Thankfully, readers send a lot of stuff. They see stories in their local newspaper. Or friends of mine email me, what they heard or saw. . . . I'm very plugged in

I'm not beating people over the head, and I'm saying that there are good things in store - you can make it in life. Most of the stuff that I minister [is] not real complicated deep things.
For me, I'm constantly writing stuff that is what I'm dealing with on a personal, psychological level. And I think that I bring that to whatever I'm doing, whether it's being an actor or a writer or whatever it is I'm doing. I think you can't help but do that.

If you're doing a music film, you've got to be singing about something. Or, you have to be singing in a vocabulary that has tremendous appeal or else people are not going to want to sit there for eighty or ninety minutes hearing this stuff.
I still have this unrealistic faith, that one day, my ship will come in. More people will discover, understand and buy my stuff.
When I started writing it was kind of hard getting people to do my stuff. They' say they couldn't do my style.
