It takes just such painful and terrible things to occur for the great emancipation to take place.

They will stop and stare and then leap at each others
Up with life. Stamp out all small and large indignities. Leave everyone alone to make it without pressure. Down with hurting. Lower the standard of living. Do without plastics. Smash the servo-mechanisms. Stop grabbing. Snuff the breeze and hug the kids. Love all love. Hate all hate.
My purpose is to entertain myself first and other people secondly.
The habit of going to your congressman's town hall and asking questions, that's powerful in a way that shouting slogans or getting arrested is not, that is completely counterproductive.
Being a justice. If you love law the way I do. . . you're given the job of a lifetime. . . you're permitted to address the most important legal questions of the country, and sometimes the world. And in doing so, you make a difference in people's lives.
