Almost always great new ideas don't emerge from within a single person or function, but at the intersection of functions or people that have never met before.
Every mile marker can be met with some measure of trepidation, in a race or in life. Am I on target? Do I have what it takes to finish strong? Am I taking care to stay nourished so I can endure? Is my training proving to be sufficient? Am I prepared for the hills? It is impossible to fathom the full distance, so we make our way to the next mile marker, and the next, checking in with ourselves as we go.

The majority of guys that I've met, that I consider confident and sexy, are pretty well rooted in who they are. They know their values and their worth as a person. They know they are intelligent, caring men, and that generates confidence.

I mean my mother migrated from Georgia -Rome, Georgia, to Washington, D. C. , where she then met my father, who was a Tuskegee Airman who was from Southern Virginia. They migrated to Washington and I wouldn't even exist if it were not for that migration. And I brought her back to Georgia, both my parents, actually.
I feel that I have many real students whom I have not met. Many are in cloisters and they never get out. Others are in prison. But in many cases they practice the teachings much better than those who meet me every day.
