We all like to think of ourselves as a standard, and I can see that it is genuinely difficult for the English middle class to suppose that the working class is not desperately anxious to become just like itself. I am afraid this must be unlearned.
I think what hinders the argument is when people are afraid of hurting the feelings of racists and people who are genuinely - some of them - out of their minds. They demand to see Obama's birth certificate. They claim that he wants to kill our grandparents with his health care. They want to be able to carry their guns into every public place. Why do we need to coddle these people?
Right now, we're not a team. I think we're genuinely happy for each other when we're out there on the court. We've got to find new and different ways to support each other on the floor. The comfort zone that we've been in, we've got to change it a little bit. Everybody has onus on this team. It's easy for someone to say, 'I play only 10 minutes a game, so they're not talking about me. ' But that 10 minutes is just as important.
In my lowest moments, when I genuinely longed for death, I knew that Jesus would walk with me through that valley as well.
When we love God because we feel we should love Him, instead of genuinely loving out of our true selves, we have forgotten who God really is.
I genuinely don't feel that anything that's been written or said about me has overshadowed my music, and that's the most important thing as far as I'm concerned.
People who are obsessed with God are known as givers, not takers. Obsessed people genuinely think that others matter as much as they do, and they are particularly aware of those who are poor around the world (James 2:14-26).
Make your team feel respected, empowered and genuinely excited about the company's mission.
I don't think anyone who genuinely embraced sincerity, charity and modesty could be intolerant or divisive.
People probably long for something genuinely personal in a society where the personal is often indistinguishable from the "personalized. " Maybe the poetry audience member is searching for his or her own "personal space" and they expect the poet to be a sort of avatar of the private life. But that sort of representation is distasteful to me. Asking a poet to represent the personal life is, paradoxically, to turn the poet into something other than a person.
When I think of people I am close to, I genuinely feel that I can include Josh Lyman, Toby Ziegler, C. J. Cregg and Sam Seaborn.
I really don't want to in the press, genuinely don't want to be in the press.
I was just genuinely shy. I'd always been a shy kid.
I've done more than 10,000 interviews, and I've learnt that you've got to do your homework. I bury myself in research beforehand. And you have to be genuinely interested in people; there's a cornucopia of great, ordinary people out there with wonderful, colourful stories.
A genuinely fundamental and hopeful improvement in "systems" cannot happen without a significant shift in human consciousness.
The true leader is a different sort; he seeks effective activity which has a truly beneficient purpose. He inspires others to follow in his wake, and holding aloft the torch of wisdom, leads the way for society to realize its genuinely great aspirations
To genuinely discover your Spirit, stop talking, stop reading, and start listening to your heart.
My argument would be that I don't think there is much that's genuinely political art that is good art.
I genuinely love you all and the fact that some of you are not feeling so great at the moment really really upsets me.
I don't want to be in competition with anyone. I'm friends with women I work with and I applaud any success they have in their careers. And I'm not just saying that because it sounds good, I genuinely want people to do well and have success.
