Khem Veasna Biography

Khem Veasna (// ( listen) [kʰɨm ʋiəhsnaː]; Khmer: ខឹម វាសនា; born 11 December 1965) is a Cambodian politician, the founder of the League for Democracy Party, businessman and a former actor, producer, director, representative of the Sam Rainsy Party for Prey Veng Province. He currently serves as the president of the League for Democracy Party (LDP). He is addressed by everybody as their relative "Brother Veasna" or "Uncle Veasna". He is recognized by his supporters as the first Cambodian revolutionary.
