It is easy to see why a diversity of cultures should confront power with a problem. If culture is about plurality, power is about unity. How can it sell itself simultaneously to a whole range of life forms without being fatally diluted?
To understand one another, and to grow in charity and truth, we need to pause, to accept and listen to one another. In this way we already begin to experience unity. Unity grows along the way, it never stands still. Unity happens when we walk together.
On the essentials, unity. On the nonessentials, liberty. In everything, charity.
How could drops of water know themselves to be a river? Yet the river flows on.
When you pray for anyone you tend to modify your personal attitude toward him. You lift the relationship thereby to a higher level. The best in the other person begins to flow out toward you as your best flows toward him. In the meeting of the best in each a higher unity of understanding is established.

We cannot be separated in interest or divided in purpose. We stand together until the end.
I will say that if there is anything like God Or Truth on earth, Hindu-Muslim unity is also possible.
