I'm mellower now, I'm over 50. But I don't think I'm too mellow. I'm still angry at a lot of things.
if you don't want to get old, don't mellow.
I think that ultimately when life is not tragedy it should be a party and if you've faced the real stuff, if you've faced the ones closest to you being at death's door, passing on, you know, not to let the small stuff really harsh your mellow, as you put it.
On the one hand, we may tell the truth, regardless of consequences, and on the other hand we may mellow it and sophisticate it to make it humane and tolerable.
