Dana Cowin is the founder and CEO of DBC Creative. Starting in November of 2017, Cowin has been acting chief creative cfficer at Dig Inn, where she is consulting on their brand identity. Her passion for helping women rise, both professionally and personally, led to her hosting her own podcast, Speaking Broadly on Heritage Radio Network. Each week she interviews women who work behind-the-scenes in the food industry and share their challenges and successes. For one full calendar year, starting in January of 2016, Cowin served as the chief creative officer of Chefs Club International. Cowin was the Editor-in-Chief of Food & Wine for 21 years. Before that, Cowin was the executive editor of Mademoiselle and the managing editor of HG magazine. She graduated from Brown University. She is married to Barclay Livingstone Palmer, a field producer with CNN and currently resides in New York City. In 2012, she was an inductee into the James Beard Foundation's Who's Who in Food & Beverage in America.
