My core message is that God has got a good plan for your lives, and we must trust Him, and let go of the past. That's my main message.
I believe in a magnificent God.
How good is God! How sweet his yoke!
Judge yourself; if you do that you will not be judged by God, as St. Paul says. But it must be a real sense of your own sinfulness, not an artificial humility.
I was always a God guy.
The only enduring influence we have to offer others is the influence God has in our own lives.
Go on your knees before God. Bring all your idols; bring self-will, and pride, and every evil lust before Him, and give them up. Devote yourself, heart and soul, to His will; and see if you do not "know of the doctrine.
I say again that I am an atheist. I do not believe in God.
Even god doesn't propose to judge a man till his last days, why should you and I?
If the God you believe in is not a sovereign God, then you really don't believe in God.
My life is a blank check before God. . . No strings attached.
We think when God speaks to us, there's going to be a boom out of Heaven or we're going to get some chill bumps, but I really believe God's talking to us all the time. He's talking to us right in here. I call it our heart, our conscience, but it's the Holy Spirit talking to us.
Sometimes we make the mistake of thinking God uses only 'special' people the strong, the intelligent, the beautiful. We don't think He has a place for the rest of us. We are so wrong!
All life is dying life – including the life of God.
By `God` I mean godliness; the whole existence is full of godliness. And when you will come to know, you will not see a god standing before you, you will see the trees as divine, the rocks as divine, the people as divine, the animals as divine. God is spread all over the place, from the pebble to the star, from the blade of grass to the sun - it is all divine.
We believe in the almighty and we believe in God and that music is from God and we're inspired by God to give messages and ideas to people.
If God is dead, everything is allowed.
God never gives us anything to do that He does not give us the strength to do.
Whatever character our theology may ascribe to him, in reality God is the infinite ideal of Man, towards whom men move in their collective growth, with whom they seek their union of love as individuals, in whom they find their ideal of father, friend and beloved.
He prays well who is so absorbed with God that he does not know he is praying.
