Thomas the Apostle (Biblical Hebrew: תומאס הקדוש; Coptic: ⲑⲱⲙⲁⲥ; Classical Syriac: ܬܐܘܡܐ ܫܠܝܚܐ Mar Thoma; also called Didymus which means "the twin") was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus, according to the New Testament.
