Neither bribe nor loose thy right.
There is a Power whose care Teaches thy way.
Therefore tremble, O man, at any power thou hast, except thou usest it for God. Art thou strong in body; who hath thy strength? God, or thy lusts?
O soul, be patient: thou shalt find A little matter mend all this; Some strain of music to thy mind, Some praise for skill not spent amiss.
O heart! love is thy bane and thy antidote.

I have been so naughted in Thy Love's existence that my nonexistence is a thousand times sweeter than my existence
Exercise thy lasting youth defends.
Consider that everything is opinion, and opinion is in thy power.
Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Now that another is suffering pain at thy hand, trust not that thy heart shall be exempt from affliction.
I pray thee cease thy counsel, Which falls into mine ears as profitless as water in a sieve.
A man asked Muhammad what was the mark whereby he might know the reality of his faith. Muhammad said, 'If thou derive pleasure from the good which thou hast performed and thou be grieved for the evil which thou hast committed, thou art a true believer. ' The man said. 'In what doth a fault really consist' Muhammad said, 'when action pricketh thy conscience, forsake it. '
Check thyself before thy wreck thyself.
Laurel crowns cleave to deserts And power to him who power exerts; Hast not thy share? On winged feet, Lo! it rushes thee to meet;. . .
He has told us to pray, 'Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven' (Matthew 6:10). And if we have ever prayed that prayer and meant it-even once-we have ourselves shut the door on thousands of things for which we might foolishly ask.
