Valery Giscard d'Estaing Biography

Valéry Marie René Georges Giscard d'Estaing (French: [valeʁi ʒiskaʁ destɛ̃]; born 2 February 1926), also known as Giscard or VGE, is a French author and elder statesman who served as President of the French Republic from 1974 to 1981 and is now a member of the Constitutional Council of France. At age 92, Giscard, a centrist, is currently the oldest living former French President.
