Tyron Woodley Biography

Tyron Lakent Woodley (born April 7, 1982) is an American mixed martial artist, actor and former collegiate wrestler for the University of Missouri. He is currently signed by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he competes in their welterweight division and is the reigning champion. He is known for victories over Tarec Saffiedine, Paul Daley, Jordan Mein, Jay Hieron, Josh Koscheck, Carlos Condit, Dong Hyun Kim, Kelvin Gastelum and Robbie Lawler, in which became the Welterweight Champion. He successfully defended his belt against Stephen Thompson and Demian Maia.
