Philip Gordon Biography

Philip H. "Phil" Gordon (born 1943) is an American diplomat and foreign policy expert. From 2013 to 2015, Gordon served in the White House as Special Assistant to the President and White House Coordinator for the Middle East, North Africa, and the Persian Gulf Region. From 2009 to 2013 he served as Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs.
