Luther Lee Bohanon (August 9, 1902 – July 18, 2003) was a United States federal judge.
To refrain and desist from interfering with terminal cancer patients, in their use of Laetrile acquired through the 'Affidavit System.
Individuals for whom no orthodox cure is available surely are entitled to select a health care approach. . . . . This right (is) specifically within,,,the 1st, 4th, 5th, 9th, and 14th amendments to the (US) Constitution. . . . To be insensitive to the very fundamental civil liberties. . . . (:) the choice. . . of the person whose body is being ravaged (by disease), is to display slight understanding of the essence of our free society and its constitutional underpinnings.
". . . arbitrary, capricious, an abuse of discretion, and as a matter of law, unsupportable. "
It disturbs me mostly. . . is the willful, deliberate denial (by the FDA, of) our own citizens, a fair chance to use Laetrile, when all the record (shows) it is not toxic,. . . is safe,. . . and is effective.
. . . to say. . . that Laetrile should not be continued to be used by those who are suffering from terminal cancer, I would have to hang my head in shame.
