Kenneth Haigh

Kenneth Haigh (25 March 1931 – 4 February 2018) was an English actor. He gained recognition for playing in the rebellious Look Back in Anger (1956) opposite Mary Ure. The cult of angry young men included stars such as Richard Burton, Alan Dobie, and Alec McCowen, who all acted in the play that symbolised the angst of teenage youth. Haigh's success as Jimmy Porter was critically acclaimed as a prototype for the modern anti-hero.
