Gianfranco Frattini (May 15, 1926 – April 6, 2004) was an Italian architect and designer. He is a member of the generation that created the Italian design movement in the late 1950s through the 1960s.
Design is. . . above all an effort to improve reality. . . I always try to begin with considerations of its function. . . I ask myself, who needs it, which materials best suit its functions and so on.
