Gay Mitchell Biography

Gabriel Alexander Mitchell (born 30 December 1951) is a former Irish Fine Gael politician who served as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for the Dublin constituency from 2004 to 2014, Minister of State for European Affairs from 1994 to 1997 and Lord Mayor of Dublin from 1992 to 1993. He served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin South-Central constituency from 1981 to 2007.
