Chris McDaniel Biography

Christopher Brian McDaniel (born June 28, 1972) is an American attorney, conservative commentator and politician of the Republican Party who since 2008 has represented the 42nd district in the Mississippi State Senate. In the 2014 Mississippi Republican U.S. Senate primary, McDaniel, who ran as a Tea Party candidate, received the most votes, but not a majority, so a runoff election ensued. McDaniel lost the runoff to incumbent Senator Thad Cochran.
